Lena Vafaey

Lena Vafaey, migrated to Vancouver, Canada when she was 18 and received her bachelor of Engineering Geotechnics there. Then she went to New York and studied Architecture. Her first interest in exploring cities was developed during her time away as an exchange student. In 2015, she started working on Peeyad project which is a media application that gives users location-based information about Tehran’s cultural and entertainment scene. In 2017, Peeyade was chosen as one of the top startups at SilkRoad Startup event in Tehran.
